It’s so frustrating

Whilst my hubby is waiting to go to court next month, the police randomly come to the house to check his devices. Fair enough. Yet they give him mixed messages.
told him he would definitely be on the SOR for 5 years. CJSW said he's only on it for now.
told him that he can go about his life as normal then said he needs to be at home when they come. Even though we obviously have no idea when they will attend.
told him to let them know when he has job interviews so they can risk assess. Yet when he tries to tell them they are never at the office so he leaves a message for them and never get back to him so he misses job interviews just in case and then they as how he got on.
One minute they are really nice and supportive then they are awful to him. it's hard to sit there and watch it

A family member told me at beginning to remember the police are not your friends. To them the conviction is the same to you at work as a KPI, they will do whatever they need to be 'good' at their job. They don't care about your life, it is very frustrating but you have to view them as they are, they will be nice is it suits them and horrible if it suits them as long as it gets them results.
I said from day one I don't trust them and never will. It was upsetting seeing him so confused. He has ADHD so people liking him is a big thing to him. I'm very much a trust no one kinds person
