Hi lovely, your outcome was the same as my OH. I should imagine as soon as you find out your pregnant you will need to notify social services, and they will become involved. In my experience so far, the 'low risk' deemed by OIC is not neccesaroy the stance that SS take - to them any risk is risk. They will want to risk assess you and your partner and they determine what the restrictions will be (if any of course). The process is lengthy so making them aware as soon as you both know would be advisable. So that you can be clear from the start what you want the outcome to be e.g living together, having him present at the birth etc. I really do wish you all the luck in the world and I hope you've got family and friends who are supportive and compassionate to you both.
