What records do solicitors hold

Here i am with my mind overthinking. I have asked my OH to get all the information from his solicitor of his arrest and sentence. He says he has asked but they never sent him anything. Am I right that a solicitor has to give you all the information they hold? I wanted to see the evidence that the police used to come up with for the charges. My OH is not very forthcoming with any information.
Your OH can give you full disclosure (I think thats the term!) with his solicitor. My ex agreed to this (I made sure he CCed me in on the email) and I have spoken to his solicitor in detail one to one. I could've sat in on all ex's meetings with the solicitor, but chose not to. I'd have been extremely suspicious if the ex hadn't given me full disclosure. Don't trust his claim to have requested info unless he can show you the request in writing. If he can't, make him email ccing you in and saying explicitly that all information is to be shared freely with you. He can also give you full disclosure with the OIC. Again get it in email with you cced in. Don't trust "I talked to them on the phone".
It absolutely isn't overthinking! You are absolutely entitled to every bit of information

Thank you for your reply. I will do that. I just find it hard that before his arrest and sentence i never had to even doubt he was not telling me everything. He was the most honest person i knew, or so i thought.
I would have said the same. It is sad, but I have zero trust concerning him. Get all the info you can.
