Good morning everyone. Sending you all love and hugs.

So I'm not sure this is the right place to post, so apologies. When the police come out to check hubby's devices, they always want to check the bedrooms. Now, I have 2 teenagers so their rooms are not always tidy. Given their ages they are definitely old enough to be responsible for tidying (even if it's a fight to get them to do it lol). My son stayed at his friend's house last night and his room is a riot. My worry is the police will see the mess and report it back to social services. I know I am probably worrying over nothing but it plays on my mind

I remember when the Police spent 4 hours in my home after the arrest going through everything. They opened my 14 yr olds bedroom door and said, "oh my God!" And promptly shut the door saying they weren't going to go through all that! It was a huge mess! Kids make a mess. Its normal. The Police won't be interested let alone DOB you in to ss's. I think they'd be more concerned if their rooms were immaculate! X

My partners offender manager has never checked bedrooms, I don't think they've ever left the living room to be honest.

I think even the police and ss will know that getting teens to keep their rooms clean is a battle. Try not to worry too much xxx

You just hear horror stories about it. I had an experience with a housing association. We had terrible mould in both bedrooms. So had to move a lot out of the rooms. It was a small 2 bed flat. They were working on our blocks room. Well meant to be. I made a complaint that they left roof open and it was causing more damp etc. even the woman above me complained. Next thing a housing officer appeared saying the workman had reported to her that our home was filthy and stinks. He had never stepped foot in and the place was clean and tidy. She threatened me with SS. This was long before the knock and we are in a different property. Sorry to rant. So my fear comes from. That one lie could have cost so much trouble. So it's playing on my mind
