I do not know the answer as we are in early stages of this.

So my OH was arrested as they said he had one conversation with another adult (who was undercover cop)

Police told me that if they do not find any evidence of this conversation on his device, or anything else related to the charges then it would be dropped. So I would assume no evidence, no charge.

However, I have read other posts where people seem to have so I am really not sure. I assume they would have to have evidence for CPS to agree anything.

We are just over 3 months in and devices not even been looked at yet so feel like this nightmare will not be over anytimes soon.

Hi lovely, I'm so sorry you've found yourself here.

My person was arrested following a post on discord was flagged by the app that he had subsequently gone on to share within another channel on there. I feel that if the police have enough evidence to to link your person to offending material in the first instance, they would likely try to pursue some form of charge.

The digital forensics are painfully slow and can recober things that men may have deleted. Potentially devices could come back clean but they may pursue a charge if they have strong intelligence to suggest someone has been involved with iioc.
