Husband was just arrested

I have no idea what's just happened.. all police was in my house and looked through all phones n stuff. Arrested husband and now I'm like what the hell, my children were at there nans thank god. He on bail now at his mums and I don't know what to do, I'm disabled and he controlled all finances and no savings how can I move my kids away from him? Does anyone know what to do. Imagine if his photo in paper I'm worried my children will get bullied ???? I'm going to have move and change our names ???? 15 years down drain and how could he look at children online ???? I feel sick. I can't believe I'm writing this he was such a good dad ????

you've asked a lot of questions and your head must be all over the place. Easier said than done but try to focus on one thing at a time. I started with practicalities as that's how I focus.

I too was disabled when my ex was first arrested.
You could phone the helpline, they might be able to advise you. Without knowing the details it's a bit difficult to help. The first thing I did was apply for benefits. You are at the beginning of what will be a long road and nothing else like the media etc will happen anytime soon. Lucy Faithful Foundation run a course called INFORM which is weekly online and goes into all the details around this, the potential charges, the court process etc. Might be helpful for you. X
