Just wondered if anyone has any experience on a medium risk partner coming home...he asked his probation if he can go home now contact restrictions are removed she just said she needs to see paperwork and all social say is they're waiting on reports...

plus on day of court we didn't realise an SHPO isn't active immediately?? Apprently it has to then go through court to have the restrictions removed and he's only just got a text saying they have been?? Nobody has received any proof of this yet so acting as if he still has the restrictions until they receive a "hard copy"

he hasn't breached any rules but he just didn't know it worked that way

positive stories please we're desperate for him back now

He's working so very hard

Hi,

my partner is classed as medium risk and we are halfway through a phased return. We've been signed off with ss and he can have unsupervised contact when I decide that he can xxx

I'll try to keep it brief but I'm happy to receive messages if you have any questions.

July 2020-arrest for communication. I ended the relationship.

July-October 2020-ss involved on a cin for my two older children (17 and 14) and unborn baby. Supervised contact agreed for baby with a safety plan that I created.

February 2021- sentencing and birth of daughter. SHPO for 5 years with online restrictions only.

March 2021- probation referral to ss post sentencing. 1 phone call to make sure I was aware of the legal outcome and happy to follow the safety plan.

October 2021- partner did engage plus with LFF.

March 2022- I did the inform course with LFF.

June 2022- combined referral probation and ourselves as there was confusion from probation about whether I could solely supervise and I wanted it in writing that I could. No cin formally opened, safety plan updated and closed again to ss in July 2022.

End of 2023-partner completed horizon course.

January 2024- I did the breaking the cycle course through circles.

February 2025- I self referred to let ss know that we plan to do a phased return home and gradual unsupervised contact. All agreed with a living safety plan- how I will manage sleepovers (partner will stay elsewhere), how I will teach my daughter about privacy, pants work etc and eventually what disclosure to her might look like. Being very clear that if she was ever to disclose anything to me or anyone else in her trust network he would be asked to leave and I'd report. Case closed within 4 weeks. Nursery fully supportive and I have regular meetings with the DSL xxx

I was never given a written CIN, I was accused of breaching a plan that never existed and was escalated to CPP, on CPP there was drift and delay which has now escalated to PLO. What annoys me is that they are not willing to admit any mistakes whatsoever. Currently got a stage 3 complaint being investigated. I want it to go to the ombudsman so I can highlight every single mistake they have made. It makes you so mad when it's people lives they are messing with x

I'm sorry that you've had a very different experience. I was only given a written report/plan when it was closed each time. I've never had to sign any plan either. What are they saying you breached?

Have you done any courses? xxx

When it was the initial child protection conference they said s47 enquiries happened because we breached the safety plan. We were not aware of any safety plan, nothing has been explained to us, we were not given anything in writing and it definitely wasn't explained what supervised contact meant. We were supposed to have an assessment with LFF but they wouldn't fund it so they just let us drift for 8 months on a CPP then escalated it to PLO which I think is really unfair x
