So after everything that's happened and is continuing to happen, we've had a few big events happen that we've swept under the rug because of everything that's going on- my 30th birthday being one of them! But me and my partner was talking earlier and I said I just want a weekend away from everything to just turn my phone off and feel me, without being anxious waiting on calls from social workers. My partner mentioned us getting away for a weekend in the UK because ill not go abroad without the children, does anyone know anywhere 'safe' for us to book up anywhere in the UK. There's no restrictions on his SHPO but i know many places don't allow people on the SOR to stay there.

There's lots of places, you just need to look up their T&C's - most won't mention it. We've been to various places with no issues

Campsites and holiday camps like Butlins do have restrictions, but most hotels and AirBnb do not.

We arent at the stage of having an SOR so very unsure about any restrictions. Is that true about campsites etc as I have had a look on a couple of sites and under the terms and conditions I cant find anything about people who have been charged of crime or on SOR etc?

Is this something we would have to disclose before booking regardless to see if they would accept?

It's these kind of things you dont even imagine would be affected!
