Hi everyone,

I am wondering if anyone can help. Bail conditions are for IIOC and Pseudo image. There has been no mention of communication, would this have been brought up in interview and on bail conditions if the OIC had evidence of communication?

Hope ur all do ok

Xx

Good Morning

thanks for posting , I know how hard it can be .

My husband (now ex husband) and our families "KNOCK" came 4 March 2025 , he wasnt at home he was at work so I had to deal with this with our 5 year old son and my mum passed aqay 4 days before ,he received bail the same day and he was released with bail conditions , no un supervised access with anyone under 18 and not able to stay in a property with anyone under 18 overnight , I am able to supervise the visits with our 5 year old son and he is able to come to the family home .

my husband was arrested for IIOC , he has been bailed until 2 September 2025. So far there has been no evidence of physical abuse or grooming or chats or sharing images or talking to any other sex offenders. Police have found over 6000 images of which 1000 were Grade A.

The waiting is driving me crazy.

Good Luck with your journey.

Hi, I guess it could come up further down the line either after devices have been forensically searched and/or during a subsequent interview. Do you suspect a communication charge?

Hi there. You're correct. If the police already have evidence of other types of offence then they would have questioned your person about them when arrested and there would be mention on the bail sheet.

If anything new is discovered during ensuing investigations eg communication when it had only been online offences at first, then there would be a second interview specifically about the new findings. At least that's how i think it works as it's what has happened in our case.

Sometimes people mention a second interview as if it's part of everyone's journey but it's not always necessary if nothing new is found and the police feel they have enough evidence to seek a charging decision from the results of that first interview at arrest.

Are you worried that your person hasn't told you everything and there might be some nasty surprises coming? This is certainly how many of us feel and it's one of the hardest parts for us family members. It's unbelievable that we should find ourselves here in the first place, dealing with our partner/son/friend's behaviour, so how can we trust that there won't be even worse things looming? That is exactly how I felt and it's absolutely dreadful to doubt whether you have had the truth told to you. All I can say is that if that's you then you are in good company and here is the place to find some strength as things proceed......

I think that anything that was known at the time by the police would have been disclosed to you as part of the arrest.

In our case, after the arrest, my husband had a very open, as far as I can trust these days honest, conversation with me. It was entirely heart breaking and I'm still worried that the investigation will bring out other nasty surprises.

Have you been able to speak about it at all together?

Thank you everyone

Rainyday

I did think thay would be the case. Im sure we all feel have we been told the truth. It comes as a massive shock. My OH has never ever been in trouble for anything. My main fear at the moment is the press, we live in a small town and the consequences of it being reported would be horrendous for us.

Hi bluebell

Yes we have spoken many times, infact it feels like that's all we talk about these days!

Had a slight breakdown this evening, feel better for having a good cry though.

This is a lot and so hard to handle. Keep fighting on, tomorrow's another day xx

My OHs initial arrest was for 1 conversation.
Bail extended from 3 to 6 then to 9 months.
The forensic investigation found 4 other conversations of interest, one Cat B and one Cat C image His second interview was regarding these findings.
Now on bail awaiting charges.
