This is my first post here, totally devastated this has become my life. I got the knock on the door 3 weeks ago about my son messaging and meeting a minor who turned out to be an undercover police officer.
He has 3 children and is currently on bail. He can not contact or see his children. What typically happens with access to the children once sentenced? I was thinking it would be supervised visits but someone said they don't think he will have any access?
please help, he has lost everything and is suicidal.

Hi, just wanted to say hello, I'm not in the same situation, and were at the start of the journey, but it is my son too that's being investigated. I don't have any advice, there is slot of helpful people on here who will of been in the Same situation as your son. Mine was messaging a minor, and as far as I know it's just one child, but he has his "voluntary" interview tomorrow. I am worried as he is currently living with us and his younger siblings, as it stands I have no reason to believe he is a danger to them. He will be homeless if he has to move out. Councils don't care about single males so he will be bottom of the list!
Has your son admitted the offences? My son did finally, long story but my partner was invited in to see the police, and saw the messages, including his Snapchat username. He is burying his head in the sand, I've told him to look into similar situations. He won't.
I wish you all the best, and hope someone comes along soon to help you x

Sorry I find it hard to reply as I can't see your message once I click to reply! I will be interested what happens tomorrow with my son as he simply can't say he's not guilty,. I think he needs to tell the truth and not do the whole no comment. As soon as your son was put on bail was contact stopped then?
I'm worried he won't be able to come home tomorrow! He's finally got himself a job and now this ... (He's already served a year in youth offenders for robbery) it's just so sad.
Is your son freely talking to you about it?
