My husband of 11 years was arrested 5 weeks ago after the police came to the door and took devices. I don't know what happens next. The police and his solicitor aren't answering emails or phone calls
Hi Moshi,
Sadly being ignored by the police is fairly standard but the solicitor is a different issue if your partner has instructed them and paid them to represent him. If it's the duty solicitor then I'm not sure as our son tried to contact his duty solicitor to see if he would represent him and got no answer. It is something that really bugs me - being ignored is just ignorant and unhelpful but unfortunately something many of us have just learnt to live with even if it makes us mad as heck (well, it does me!)

Hi Moshimonster,
Sorry this is happening to you. Checking the devices seems to take a long time so you could be waiting months or years before you get to the next stage. Until then, there will likely be nothing to report. It's devastating for those affected. I wish I had better news and I hope it goes better for you than it has for some of us. Take it day by day and be kind to yourself. x
