Wanting overnight stays

My husband was convincted 2year ago in March and took me to court for access he got 6hours unsupervised fortnightly. Which still makes me ill now. It has been going on for four months and has made a suggestion of at some point wanting him overnight. My thoughts are a no . But has anyone else been put in this position. And what are the rules for me to argue it as I am unsure what they are allowed.
