My son is currently under investigation for ditribution of indecent images, now I know there is a long road ahead ( I have posted full story in other disscussion) but I'm looking at ways to help in the meantime what courses do people suggest he can do either online or in person, would counciling be a positive step? I'm Really at a loss as to what I can do to help him any advice greatly appreciated x

I would recommend asking him to call Stop It Now. They offer the Inform programme which my husband found very helpful. Counselling is always available but we were told to avoid it until after sentencing as they can use the counsellor in the prosecution. X

To Jcc77

I'm useless on things like this.... I hit the wrong button earlier! I was trying to explain that as a mum of an offender (lives in same house)

I feel there is no help as all the other ladies talk of husbands or partners. I don't know what to do, where to go for help and advice. My son is a farmer so working very long hours at this time of year with lambing and crop planting so don't see him much to talk about things. He was first arrested around 2 month ago and have heard nothing since. Do we contact the police, solicitor, councillors, doctors etc or do we wait for further contact from whoever.

I'm so worried and confused, angry and sad.

We are looking into. We cannot afford counciling

So we will wait until after and get couple

counciling we think. He also went to his GP and is now on medication and that has helped so much. Hugs sweetie xx
