My husband has been on suspended sentence since May, there was a situation back at the beginning where one of my husbands phones was badly damaged and the local officer said he'd check it then my husband can do what he wanted with that specific phone, so he took I and destroyed it with a chisel as he had permission.
then he told the officer he's destroyed it and he looked confused and put it down as a "small warning" not to do it again?? (Makes sense)
suddenly months later he's been arrested at 3am and nobody has heard anything since all we know is it's regarding a destroyed phone, we're all so scared is he in prison, can't live without the love of my life, we have so much planned, he gets me through everyday day :,(
surely this is wrong, all wrong, it's like they're out to get him I'm so scared surely he'd have rang by now if he was coming back....

Have you still not heard anything? Did the police not even leave any contact details or tell you where they were taking him? X
Could it be because of the checks on it, like what was found when he did check it? Destroying it with a chisel is quite an odd way to do it most people would take it to the tip, chuck it in the bin.
Is there a possibility that it's unrelated to the phone and he has reoffended?
Obviously I'm not saying any of these are what happened that's just what would run through my head, did the officer tell him in front of you that he could destroy it? Or did he tell you that's what he was told? Did you hear it from the officer that it had been checked?
Unfortunately I've been burnt several times by my ex lieing to protect himself (I'm not saying that's what's happened here) I would encourage you to think about the possibilities, that if he told you it might have been so you didn't question him about destroying it?

I do think of all possibilities
I've not heard anything they've had him nearly 24 hours surely someone can tell me I'm in such a bad place and I'm scared

It's impossible to say why he's been arrested without more information. It could be related to this destroyed phone or some other unrelated matter. Others have given possible situations that may have lead to this.
If he's committed another offence whilst on licence there is a significant possibility of remand to prison and his suspended sentence being activated.
If I was in his position and was given permission to do something like dispose of a phone I would make sure it's done in writing and signed by the person who agreed to it.

They normally allow the person to make one phone call at some point and they can only hold someone for a limited time without charging them. I expect he will be interviewed at the local police station first, not taken straight to prison.
Well he's now back, it was about the phone, he has to return to court and has been bailed to one address only he can't even do overnight work for his job....but we have found emails where this police officer has said he can dispose of the phone soon as it's been checked! And it was checked! Now he's denying it, we have physical evidence that my husband asked and asked if they could dispose of it for him, (why would he do that if he hid something)
I feel this is a losing case for them, how can they lie through their teeth, now we got court and a trial unless it's chucked out, he knows he's not done a thing wrong, he always asks
absolutely wrong
