After waiting over three and a half years, my OH is finally in magistrates court this morning. This is so surreal, how are we here? I need everyone to keep their fingers crossed the media won't be with us.....

Thinking of you also - this will be us in a few weeks time xx
Thanks so much everyone for your supportive messages, it went as well as we could have hoped. There was a big list today and luckily our solicitor wangled it so we were in first. It was a bit of a shock, one minute chatting to our friend who came with us, then were called and 20 seconds later in court seeing my OH in the enclosed wooden stand, with a glass screen, answering questions to the magistrates and clerk.
Luckily no reporters were there but that doesn't mean we have got away from them, it could easily be online any time soon.
Good things that came out of today - they referred it to Crown court and didn't deal with it in magistrates (probably because of the comms charge), so that's a win in our eyes. Also they recommended a PSR so there will only be one crown court date.
Came away feeling absolutely exhausted, hadn't realised how much of me was running on adrenaline.
Love to all of you but especially those of you going through the court system at the moment. We waited 3.5 years for this and it's all a bit surreal that we are finally going through it Xx
