We’d like to let you know that the Forum Team, along with the wider Lucy Faithfull Foundation, uses Egress to send emails. You may receive emails via Egress from us for various reasons, including offering emotional support in response to a post on the forum, requesting additional information to help determine if the forum is suitable for you, and sharing important updates about your account or engagement with the Lucy Faithfull Foundation more generally. Egress is a secure platform that helps us protect sensitive information and maintain confidentiality and ensures that emails are only accessible to their intended recipients.
We wanted to share this notice with you as we are aware that some individuals may not yet be familiar with our use of this software. It is important that all recipients understand how to access messages sent via Egress, particularly if they are expecting correspondence from us.

Access controls, including the ability to restrict forwarding or downloading

Free access for recipients, with no subscription required to view or respond to messages
Accessing Egress Emails
If you are expecting an email from the Forum Team or Lucy Faithfull Foundation and have not received it, we kindly ask that you check your spam or junk folder, particularly if this is your first time receiving an Egress-secured message from us.
To access an Egress email:
Click the secure link provided in the message.
You may be prompted to create a free Egress account or verify your identity.
Follow the instructions to view the message securely via the Egress platform.
Egress messages can be accessed through the Egress Secure Web Portal or via mobile applications, available for both iOS and Android devices.
If you are experiencing any difficulties using Egress to open emails from the Forum team, please contact forum@lucyfaithfull.org.uk. For any other correspondence from us relating to issues with Egress, for example the secure email service for the helpline, please contact the Stop It Now helpline on 0808 1000 900.
