Such fantastic news :-)

We have been celebrating sons GCSE results, with a meal on Tuesday and preparing for back to school.

I finally chased up with the OIC (first time in 14m) and was told still waiting on one device.

Love to all xx

That's great news starr! So pleased for you and your son.

It's been a tough week here too, but it's behind us now and we have a couple of months breathing space before the next bump in the road.

Waiting on probation to contact OH re the PSR.

Got friends visiting next weekend which will be a welcome distraction even if I do feel a bit of a fraud not telling them what's happened - but they don't need to know and we see them very infrequently.

Been tidying the garden this morning, and bought a new washing basket!! You know you're getting old when you enjoy a visit to Dunelm on a Saturday morning!!

GREAT news Starr! And how lovely to celebrate something positive

After a good weekend the week was rough. Saw my ex on Monday. It was a bit awkward and first, then just small talk about the things we'd usually talk about. I felt nothing for him, which seemed like a step forward. I don't want to be feeling sorry for him anymore or missing him. Then on Tuesday I crashed when a lovely little girl of 6 or 7 started chatting to me in the supermarket. She'd been singing away to herself and complimented my outfit. Normally I'd chat back, but I had to get out of there because all I could think of was what my ex had been watching, and the age of some of the children. Just horrible.

Apart from that I've been getting my head back into work, I ordered a load of spring bulbs, and had a lovely long talk with one of my closest friends last night. And went to see Fsntastic 4 at the cinema. Today I'm meeting my parents for lunch, which will be nice.

Well I was having a fantastic week until this evening when I ended up having a full on anxiety attack because there was a cop car parked directly outside the house.
