so my husband was arrested for one conversation regarding a viglante who claimed to be a 12 year old girl.
Basically he was using KIK to fulfil sexual fantasies that's weren't about children or anything to do with that.
He had been on this site for years and had never had any other conversation like this.
He has now remembered that he had one conversation with a girl who said she was in college. He didn't talk sexually to her but they discussed their fantasties.
Apparently the girl then sent him pictures of her boobs for which he believes from what he remembers as the chat was some years ago he didn't sent any pictures back.
Now he is petrified that this is going to go against him, could anyone advise on this please.

Hi Notsurewheretogo, I'm so sorry, I know how hard this is. I keep trying to find out what and when from my husband. What I found disgusting is that vigilantes are on these sites posing as children, and trying to trap vulnerable adults. I wouldn't be surprised if most of the conversations are actually with vigilantes from what I read. They should be arrested too.
I am told to try not to overthink. Plan for the worst and hope for the best!! Which is not helpful and does nothing to settle my mind.

I have heard about vigalantes and it's down to the police to find evidence.
There is a lot of things wrong with the one conversation they had like the 'person' continually harassed my husband into having further conversations but he didn't do them. They are so dodgy.
