Does anyone know what the process is.
My son-in-law is not to have contact with anyone under 18 for 2 years.
He has three kids. Who contacts my daughter to advise her what to do.

Where has the no contact rule come from, bail conditions, social services or SHPO?
I don't know what an SHPO is.
He was sentenced on Friday and the judge said he's not allowed contact with anyone under 18 for 2 years.
So I was wondering who contacts my daughter to advise her about the children.

A SHPO is a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, it’s a court order usually put in place during sentencing which allows certain restrictions on activities to be put in place to reduce the risks of further offending.
The types of restrictions put in place will vary but could include things like having no contact with children, banning the person from owning or possessing internet capable devices, banning the person from accessing particular websites or apps, or stopping them from deleting their internet history without approval.
All the above would normally be completely legal which is why a specific court order is required to enforce them.
As for who contacts your daughter about the children I would guess social services but if they were intending to become involved, they would usually have done so by now. I guess it all depends on what sort of advice/assistance your daughter is looking for.

Your son in law will have been allocated an offender manager who will ensure he is maintaining his SHPO restrictions. If your son in law is keeping to the restriction his offender manager might not see any reason to discuss them with your daughter. I'm assuming your daughter and son in law are separated but if they are still in some form of relationship social services may become involved as they will deem their relationship to be a risk of your son in law breaching his SHPO restrictions.
Thank you for all your comments, they're greatly appreciated.
My daughter is now separated from him and will be divorcing him as soon as we know where to send the paperwork.
At the time of his arrest in July she was appointed a social worker but that's been closed as they didn't have any concerns with her and the children.
I guess we just wait now to see if someone contacts us regarding his supervised contact with the children
