I don't believe it is shown on passport once off SOR, in fact I don't think it's on the passport even whilst subject to SOR.

OH has travelled abroad in europe since coming off SOR with no issues

How easy is it to go abroad whilst still on the register? My person just got sentenced last week so all very new at this end on what the restrictions are. Police aren't much help!

Did your oh notify the police that he was going abroad as I've read that you still have to even if your not on there anymore

We never travelled abroad whilst he was on SOR.

He would have to notify the police of any travel plans and they are then able to tell the authorities in whichever country he is travelling too if they feel it’s necessary.

I remember reading something on the internet from someone who was on SOR and had to travel abroad regularly for work, he wrote that it had never been an issue when travelling through passport control.

The only change I think is he can’t use e-gates.

There is no legal requirement to notify police of travel, if you are not on the SOR.

Going abroad to Europe is straightforward. More difficult if you want to go to countries like the USA or Australia where you have to apply for a visa.

We have just came back from a family favourite hotel in Turkey . Husband on register no issues in airport going out or comming back but Interpol were informed of his conviction and we had to sign a form in hotel reception which had the words explicit contents on the heading I didn't read what we were signing as just wanted to get out off the way of the other guests . But no issues apart from that x

Hi Molly dog

As per my previous post regarding our last trip to Turkey about 4 months ago, I thought I would pop back on this forum again and see if there were any updates as we are again going away next week beck to Turkey..

We originally chose Turkey as not part of the EU etc and was the easiest option etc etc.

Having read your post Molly dog, I am now concerned that they may upping their game if you had to sign something at reception upon arrival.... I was petrified last time about my friend not being able to get in Turkey, but all was fine, but what with your new post I'm starting to panic again that he won't be allowed in the hotel...!!!

Does it ever get any easier and less stressful

I'm hoping so..
