01/03/2025, my son was arrested on 2 charges,he pleaded guilty to one charge, not guilty to the second charge.

Court date mid October CTL 17TH October.

By early August CPS threw out the second charge , so not there is no court case, just sentencing, that was due on the 03/09/2025 . On 02/09/2025 they postponed sentencing for 3 weeks,no reason given, according to solicitors, 23/09/25 they postponed until 10/11/2025.

So how long can they keep delaying sentencing, it weed dealing so 1-3 yrs. He had not tried for bail because of the not guilty to the 2nd charge as was very serious (totally made up by neighbours, police seized on it with gusto (the investigation killed one person but of course the police hide that,as non suspicious death)

He has send 6-7 months now and by the sentencing date 10th November 2025 will be 8-9 months. How long can they keep delaying sentencing for?

Hi, although I don't know the answer to your question, I didn't just want to read and scrolll on.

I can't imagine how hard it must be having the sentencing date postponed over and over again. Is he attending court in person or will it be live link? I'm just wondering if the logistics of having to attend in person may have caused some of the delays.

I really hope for both of you that sentencing will now go head as planned.

Hi , We are over 3.5 yrs down the line since my autistic son was stung by vigilantes for a single communication offence. Every date we have been given has been changed at the last minute (day before). Hopefully it will be 3rd time 'lucky' this coming Friday for his sentencing. To keep having it postponed at the last minute is devastating and cruel. I really feel for you
