Hi my person is autistic and 19. He has pleaded guilty and we await sentencing. He has restrictions in place and a police officer came out who has been allocated . He also has a police officer now allocated where he is in college. He is in residential. The police officer messaged him saying he had to come to the station at 9am last Monday. He didn't respond. Didn't tell his support worker or us. Didn't attend.

The police then got in touch with his support worker and was rude and just basically said he has to come when he says. No flexibility. My son has one to one support and has significant executive processing issues .

It was arranged again for today at 11am. Staff could not get him up and out. He kept making excuses. Doesn't seem the urgency and the consequences for just not bothering to attend. He doesn't understand at all.

He did go but was late. Staff messaged and said they've told her to leave and want to speak to my son alone about sexual preferences. I am very unhappy about this approach.

Should he have support in the room? This feels heavy handed and discrimination to me I acted as his appropriate adult during the questioning etc. where does he stand with this?
