Hi all, Some of you will have read the topic thread about forum developments. One idea which received positive feedback was to have a slot when we are available to answer your questions as best we can. With this in mind, we would like to pilot this on:

Wednesday 21st November from 7-9pm

We hope that is a time that will be convenient for a good number of people. Of course we can always vary the times, in future, if there's demand for the service, so that nobody is excluded.

So, Ask Lucy, on Wednesday 21st November, and, in the meantime, please remember that you are welcome to call the Stop it Now! Helpline on 0808 1000 900. We have increased the staffing on the Helpline in recent weeks, so it is easier now to get through to the operators.

My heart breaks at yet another desperately sad situation. Just how many are there of us and how many will be there be with lives and families just blown apart by these dreadful acts? I am one year on now and I am still struggling to make sense of it all. Just when will it get better?

Hi all, just a quick reminder to say the Ask Lucy Session will be taking place on Wednesday the 21st of November between 19:00 and 21:00.

We hope that you will find this time useful to raise any questions you may have. ‘Lucy’ will be online between these hours answering questions as soon as possible, however please bear in mind that depending on how many individuals engage with us during this period it may take a few minutes for her to reply.

Susie, I am sorry to hear that the police have come back to you with this news, I am sure this is a very difficult time for you. As poster has mentioned it can often be difficult to predict likely sentence outcomes, so I suggest you take each day at a time and ensure you and your family are getting the support you need to help you through this time. Please remember you are always able to ring the helpline if you feel you would like someone to talk to on 0808 1000 900.
