Bless you Rick, it's not nice being in this situation and especially whilst waiting for the evidence because you have no idea what you're actually working with. Normally the way Police "get" people through Kik is when they have given a mobile number linked to them or actual information about themselves, ...

Yes very worried baffled b it all seems so confusing what you can be charged for or not like I say he said he deleted the app 7 months ago and never stored anything on his phone the police just said he had been reported for viewing indecent images on ...

Just wondering if anyone can help if there is nothing found on your devices are you still charged if you have been reported by your Internet provider kik etc..

Very interesting our family member has been accused of viewing on the kik app no mention of downloading ...I did read an article from a newspaper online a barrister told a court that kik doesn't keep any uploads on its servers obviously I don't know if that's right

Further to what I've previously said about Kik, it does indeed delete everything when the app is deleted and it's very unlikely things can be recovered but in some cases bits of data can end up being copied into files deep in the phone which can be found upon further digging. ...
