You literally never know what can happen, there are different levels of searches, the person doing the forensics can be really good at their job and even the Kik app itself, the information it stores is fragmented and you don't know whether there will be anything remaining. My husband was arrested for images on kik aswell..he too deleted the app and all images on his phone.

He was arrested July 2022 so they've had the devices nearly 2 years, there was no decoy it was a guy he was talking to on kik which was confirmed it was.
I did wonder if it was an NFA maybe the oic isn't happy about it that's why they've not ...

Thank you! I'm aware it'll be a long wait till the forensics are even available to his solicitor. He has (in fairness) been very specific about what he claims they will find (one small file from one date on his phone that he SAYS he didn't want and deleted straight away). ...

He got a suspended sentence, community service and SHPO. It didnt hit the media. I found sentencing very stressful but I think it helped ...
